The Cocoon Space

Singapore Fashion Council (SFC) launched The Cocoon Space at Design Orchard in March 2019, as part of efforts to facilitate the development of the local fashion and design industry, 

The Cocoon Space has various dedicated and hot desk tables for co-workers, and provides various meeting and event spaces for content creation, workshops product launches, live and online performances, and multi-faceted pop-up activations over two levels Levels 2 and 3) and the outdoors areas. 

One of our key areas in The Cocoon Space is the Makers Studio; which is filled with different types of professional industrial machines for sewing, ironing, textile printing and embroidery. This is a haven for designers to hone their skills in pattern drafting, draping, sewing, designing and network with like-minded co-workers. Co-workers see the benefits and flexibility in working in a safe and conducive environment till late. This is an interesting workshop co working space that is not commonly found in other co working spaces, and SFC is happy to provide this to the design community. 

Co-workers and members of the public enjoy a vibrant and relaxing place to enjoy coffee and do their work at the local specialty coffee place at Level 3. 

Our target audience ranges from students, designers, companies and MNCs in the design community or related fields.
